Welcome to Mordkessel!

May it please Heaven that the reader, emboldened and become of a sudden momentarily ferocious like what he is reading, may trace in his safety his pathway through the desolate morass of these gloomy and poisonous pages. For unless he is able to bring to his reading a rigorous logic and a spiritual tension equal at least to his distrust, the deadly emanations of this book will imbibe his soul as sugar absorbs water.

Phase One Complete!

Phase one of my amazing, astounding, earth-shattering new webdesign is complete. The entire base functionality of the site has been transferred to the new design. In my opinion it's a lot more sleeker than the previous one, and more importantly it gives the appearance of being a dynamic front page (because it is). The site's backend is on a content management system, which allows for modular installing of all types of modifications. Please give me feedback on what you think on the design, other than the width of it. 800x600 is the best solution for compatibility, so that's the way it's staying. Aside from that though, I'd love to hear what you think is good, bad, or outright ridiculous.Cheers!

2007!

Axes! For an RP/PvP guild that began here it’s pretty darned good that five years and counting since the Axes of Mordkessel first began to gather at the campfires we’re still going strong and our community continues to grow and have the best, most lively OFT of any MMO guild out there on the Net today. So. Yeah. Not much actual MMO news, we’re in that post WoW withdrawal phase along with most other gaming communities wise enough to wake up and smell the drudgery that the end-game of WoW has become. Despite the fact that most of us have moved on there’s some of us that just can’t get enough of Blizzard’s grind, a small crew of Axes continues to do their thing in WoW. In the meantime Halethrain has gone retro and semi-incognito, having returned to Shadowbane to give good ol’ storied Mourning some much needed Old School razzle and dazzle while the rest of us are waiting (vulture like) on the periphery of two potentially fantastic MMO’s.
